Rusty Rooster Antique Mall
ABOUT US
8,000 square feet of Vendors
The Rusty Rooster Antique Mall is owned by Jeff and Kelly Logan. We are located on Route 13 North in Westover, Maryland. My Father and Grandmother built the building in 1969 as the new Olsen’s Antiques store. The Olsen’ family has deep roots it the community in the antique, collectable, and estate business for over 60 years. In 2010 my father retired, and sold the building to an auction house. In 2017, My husband Jeff and I purchase the building back and opened The Rusty Rooster Antique Mall. I am Registered Nurse and been in the nursing field for over 17 years and Jeff has worked in automotive parts management and sales for 25 years. Jeff and I both grew up in Somerset County and we married in 2005.
We both have a huge love for auctions, estate buys, pickin’ and buying and selling. It is something we love to do together. I decided to start a small Facebook site for Olsen Girls’ Attic Finds and Treasures as a hobby and it quickly took off and developed into a passion for both of us. Jeff and I love the thrill of the pick, auctions, and to be out searching for our items! Through this process we have met so many wonderful people, and many of our customers have become friends. Our customers have requested over and over to have a place that they can come see all of our great treasures. So, we have decided to open The Rusty Rooster Antique Mall.
This is a dream come true for both Jeff and I, and to be able to start this business in the building that my father build, and I grew up in just makes it all that more special. We have been humbled beyond words by the support of both of our families and our community in this venture. We hope that we are able to bring the same enjoyment and happiness to the community that my family built in over 60 years of service in Somerset County as Olsen’s Antiques.
